There is nothing wrong with O.G.s. Many of them play a critical role in maintaining community in the Web-3 space. Others, however, perpetuate insular cultures of exclusion and toxicity, and are validated by hangers-on who are afraid to challenge their entrenchment. There is no use in fighting them or otherwise seeking to discredit them. As space matures, those who do not contribute will become atavistic. As the masses realize that giveaways centered on NFTs worth pennies do not constitute community, the good O.G.s will come to the fore, and new leaders will emerge from the space. In the interim, don't feed the trolls, stay positive, and spread good vibes.
